Good and Bad News

Pacific UV got a 7.9 on Pitchfork today! I'm very happy for the guys, and have felt somewhat rewarded myself as Jesse and I have spent a lot of effort writing and recording Longplay 2. It feels somewhat bittersweet, as i'm still living far enough away not to be able to even personally congratulate the band, but I hope to be living back in Portland soon, amongst my friends who i miss very dearly.

On the flipside of things, there's some bad news concerning my harddrive(s) and my laptop. Due to some unexpected damage inflicted on my poor laptop, it seems i'm unable to access either of my outboard harddrives. Which means i can't currently upload the "photos" section of this website, and (most importantly) i cannot write/record/or access my music files at the moment. This has come as quite a blow and i'm working out in my best fashion how to fix it. For now, however, check out Asher's new promo video for the Coachlight Woods in our music section. He's done a great job.

Humble Beginnings

Welcome to the beta version of glowwormmusic.com! It's the day of our release, and we're very excited to get the album out after all this time and share it with friends, family, and the world. Our humble little album is one in a sea of so many great ones by innumerable talented musicians. We are proud, however, and feel like our effort has been a special one due to the process we went through to make and record The Coachlight Woods.

Have a look around the site but be patient as things are still coming together quite a bit. Hopefully, we'll have some photos up soon of St. George, where we made this recording, as well as some videos and other things of interest. The album has gone live by now on iTunes, Amazon, Emusic and at CDBaby so if you are wondering how to get a copy- well, there you go. You can also get this thing direct through our store and support your favorite starving artists. I look forward to updating here more...
